Fast Casual and Full Service DMV restaurant sales were mixed for June, with a slight bump from Father's Day for Full Service.
Last month, both Fast Casual and Full Service came in at -1% at the end of June compared to June 2024 sales. Both segments had consistent performance and more positive growth at the start of the month.
In last month's 7-day moving average chart, Full Service saw a boost in sales for Father's Day but was slower than last year's performance. Fast Casual restaurants saw consistent performance with a slight decrease mid-month before ticking up again.
Delivery as a percentage of overall sales accounted for 12.89% of sales for the DMV, and 12.31% nationwide, down slightly from last month.
June was slower than we would've liked to see, but with the Fourth of July coming next month and hopefully more summer weather, we're looking forward to next month's report! See you in August!
