The sun's out, and so are last month's Washington D.C. metro area restaurant sales performance. Scroll down to read how they did!
Last month, Fast Casual came in at 0% growth and Full Service came in at +1% at the end of June, compared to June 2025 sales.
In last month's 7-day moving average chart, both segments had positive performance throughout the month. The best day for both segments was June 22, with Fast Casual peaking around +6% growth and Full Service knocking it out of the park with 15% growth!
Delivery as a percentage of overall sales accounted for 12.44% of sales for the DMV, down slightly from last month, and 12.99% nationwide.
June was a strong month for both segments, but particularly for Full Service, which we love to see! With increased tourism to the area for the nation's 250th birthday, the continuation of the World Cup games and summer break in full swing, we're even more optimistic for how July will shake out!
