Prior to founding MarginEdge, Bo was the founder of Wasabi. Wasabi is a group of conveyor belt sushi restaurants currently operating in DC and Boston. Prior to Wasabi, Bo was in the US Peace Corps serving in Macedonia, earned an MS in Finance from London Business School, and founded an educational software company, Prometheus, which he sold to Blackboard in 2002.

Prior to founding MarginEdge, Roy was a Joint Venture Partner with Bloomin Brands. At Bloomin Brands, Roy’s most recent role was developing the Bonefish Grill concept in the mid-Atlantic with 15 restaurant openings. Roy is also an operating partner with Bo at the Wasabi restaurants.

Prior to founding MarginEdge, Mike was a founder or co-founder of several technical and financial startups. Most recently, Mike founded Smart Commercial Funding, a commercial finance and brokerage company.
Prior to founding MarginEdge, Sam co-founded Starfish Retention Solutions, a higher education focused education technology company. Starfish was acquired by Hobsons in 2015. Sam and Bo worked together many moons ago at Prometheus.
Brian has a passion for building teams to solve challenging problems, satisfy users, and improve life in new, meaningful ways. He worked with Sam at Starfish Retention Solutions where he ran the product development, quality assurance, and technical support teams.

Suzette has a “the glass is always half full, we can make it better” attitude towards client services. The majority of her early career was spent with Outback Steakhouse, leaving as the Regional Director of Training for the Northeast. She has spent time with local restaurant groups over the years running their operations training. The customer experience is the most important part of a great client, business relationship. She truly loves to see the light bulb go off when a concept clicks and everyone is in harmony over products and services.

Dan has been a founder or founding team member of four previous technology companies, resulting in two acquisitions (one by a publicly traded company). Dan came to MarginEdge from the venture capital industry where he served as the Investment Director at CIT GAP Funds, one of the nation’s most active early-stage technology funds. Dan earned his M.B.A. from the UCLA Anderson School of Management and a B.A. from Oberlin College, and enjoys playing bluegrass fiddle in area bands.
