MarginEdge Advances as Best Tech Startup Finalist in Washington DC’s 2018 Timmy Awards

Tech in Motion DC has chosen MarginEdge as a finalist for this year’s Best Tech Startup category as it prepares for the fourth Annual Timmy Awards, which recognizes the top workplaces for tech professionals in the Washington DC area. MarginEdge joins an elite list of this year’s finalists, including: Social Tables, Upskill, and Mapbox, which the public can vote for 2018 Timmy Award Nomination.

“It is an honor to celebrate the companies who are striving to better the lives and workplaces of their tech teams,” says Mandy Walker, Director of Marketing at Tech in Motion. “As the event series grows each year, we are excited to celebrate the diversity, innovation and growth in the community – which we recognize is represented by these finalists whether or not they walk home with an award.”

Washington DC’s local community has a chance to get involved by voting online now through October 3rd to help determine which company will be crowned the best in tech. The four award categories include: Best Tech Startup, Best Tech Manager, Best Tech Work Culture and Best Tech Workplace for Diversity.

Washington DC’s 2018 Timmy Awards will be held on October 25th at 1776 DC (1133 15th St NW) from 6 – 9pm. This free event is open to the public and will consist of tech demos, entertainment and networking. The ceremony will also feature presentations from Washington DC’s top tech leaders.
