Things are still moving in the right direction!
Still seeing Fast Casual and Full Service restaurants diverge in recovery, with Fast Casual shooting up to +12% in year-over-2-year sales and Full Service hovering around -30%. This is likely driven by areas that still have limited indoor capacity and the public slowly easing back into indoor dining – but we know we are on a hopeful path here with vaccines and increasingly relaxed guidance!
Because things are changing so fast we are working on some different views to give you a better lens on different elements of the recovery – so stay tuned for that over the next few weeks. If you have any requests on what you would like to see here just let me know and we will see what we can do!
