Full Service's year-over-year monthly sales ended up at 6% growth for March, with Fast Casual close behind at 5% growth.

Across a 7-day moving average, Full Service ended the month at 8% with a peak in the last week, no doubt thanks in part to cherry blossom festival activity. This is a great trend to see, as this year's cherry blossom celebrations last well into April. Fast Casual's numbers were similar throughout the month, and ended up at 4%.

Overall sales ended very positive yet again at 8% for the last week of March.

Delivery sales stayed exactly the same as last month for both the DMV (at 11%) and nation-wide (at 13%).

This has been a great quarter for DMV restaurants! While some of the growth at the beginning of the year is the result of a rebound from 2022's numbers, we're confident 2023 sales will continue to climb especially as we head into warmer weather! We'll see you in May.
