August 2024 Sales for DMV Restaurants Are In!
It's time to dive into the DMV restaurant sales for August 2024! On a seven-day moving average, Fast Casual sales ended down by -3%, whereas Full Service bounced back slightly with a 1% increase in sales compared to last year's same period.
On the monthly averages front, Full Service sales saw a minor dip of -1% year-over-year. Fast Casual, however, turned the tables with a 1% growth compared to August 2023. It appears to be a mixed bag this month, with each segment showing varying trends.
Sales from DMV and nationwide delivery services accounted for 13% of total sales this month.
