Restaurant Sales - DC - June 2024

DMV restaurant sales were heating up this June!

On a seven-day moving average, Full Service ended +2% up from June 2023, and Fast Casual ended with +4% growth compared to last year's numbers. 

Looking at monthly averages for year-over-year growth, Fast Casual averaged a strong +5% growth compared to June 2023 sales and Full Service came in a little lower at -1% (up from last month's growth!).

Most of the month was positive for both segments, with the week of Juneteenth really doing well for Fast Casual. 

Delivery as a percentage of sales for both the DMV and Nationwide came in at 12% last month.
