September's storms were no match for Full Service and Fast Casual DMV restaurants' hot sales growth last month

Once again, DMV restaurants for both segments ended the month on a high with positive year-over-year growth. 

Across a seven-day moving average, Fast Casual ended the month at four percent growth compared to the same time last year. Full Service also ended on a high with two percent sales growth, following a very strong start to the month thanks in part to DC Restaurant Week. 

Delivery sales increased last month for both the DMV (at 12%) and nationwide to 13%. 

Sales growth has remained consistent over the last seven months which is absolutely something to celebrate. As we approach the end of the year, we're definitely looking forward to seeing how the industry's busy season boosts numbers even further.
